Here is ChiwawaTV’s ultimate breakdown of the biggest new international releases hitting OTT platforms today.

1. Masterplan (Amazon Prime Video)

If you love slick European heist movies, Masterplan should be at the top of your list. Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the film stars the incredibly charming Stanley Tucci as Roger, a legendary thief plotting to steal the Mona Lisa. To pull off this seemingly impossible job, he recruits an Italian hacker (Simona Tabasco) and a French explosives expert (Victor Belmondo).

However, the film flips the script with a wild twist: Roger reveals that his two new recruits are actually his long-lost biological children. What starts as a tense, high-stakes robbery quickly devolves into a hilarious, chaotic family reunion, forcing the estranged trio to bond while dodging security to execute the heist.

2. Money Trap: The Karun Treasure (Netflix)

Netflix is bringing the laughs and the thrills with Money Trap: The Karun Treasure, a highly anticipated Turkish crime comedy. The eight-episode series marks the return of veteran con artist Asım Noyan, played by Yılmaz Erdoğan.

When Asım gets his hands on a mysterious map detailing the location of the legendary Treasure of Karun, he reunites his old crew for one last massive score. But the mission quickly spirals out of control as they find themselves hunted by rival crime syndicates and international treasure hunters. With an all-star Turkish cast including Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Ezgi Mola, this is a perfect weekend binge.

3. Tenzing (Apple TV+)

For those seeking a more dramatic, visually awe-inspiring experience, Apple TV+ has globally debuted Tenzing. Directed by Jennifer Peedom, this biographical drama stars Tom Hiddleston and Willem Dafoe alongside Genden Phuntsok, exploring the historic and grueling expedition to conquer Mount Everest.

The film takes a deep, respectful look at Tenzing Norgay's profound, sacred relationship with the mountain. More importantly, it tackles the harsh colonial attitudes and social hierarchies of the era, focusing on Tenzing’s fierce determination to be recognized as an equal climbing partner rather than mere support staff for the Western explorers.
